Ceramic Lessons

AT LUBA’S, IN HAIFA IN AN INTIMATE AND PERSONAL ATMOSPHERE

THERE ARE CERAMIC AND CRAFT LESSONS FOR ADULTS, TEENS

AND CHILDREN FOR BEGINNER AND ADVANCED LEVELS.

The lessons are taught with emphasis on personal attention and guidance for individuals or small groups.

During the lessons, the students will learn different techniques for decorating and painting of ceramics, in addition students will learn the following techniques:

Surface techniques: Working with pastry board or slabroller. Creating plates, bowls, trays and three dimensions dishes.
Vertebrae techniques: Vertebrae preparation, constructing three dimensional objects for instruments or as a basis for sculpturing. 
Potter’s wheel techniques: Learning from the basic and until the finished piece. Processing, molding, tools preparation, lids, covers, spouts and more.
Various Sculpturing techniques: Material subtraction and addition. Sculpturing from existing form using surfaces or vertebrae.
Decorating and Painting techniques: Using slips, salts and glaze. Working with burshes, pencils, ceramics, patterns, stamps, lace fabrics and more. 

The specific lesson contents will be determined personally for each student according to his knowledge, ability, progression and student’s personal preferences. During the lesson, the student will acquire the necessary skills to form a good basis from which they would be able to develop and give personal expression in their artworks. 

There are several lesson level aimed for beginners and advanced students in the evenings.
